Man beaten with shoe for poor investment
decisions
A woman was so angry with her husband on Thursday
night after finding out he had used her money to buy stocks that she beat him
viciously with one of her high heel shoes in the street in Changchun, Jilin.
"His nose was bleeding badly when we arrived on the scene," a police
office surnamed Yang said. "But even then the man kept asking the woman to
forgive him." At the police station the two explained that they were a couple
and the husband admitted he was addicted to stock trading and had lost all of
his wife's money on bad investments.
Man raised wolf in
puppy's clothing
A man from a town near Chaoyang, Liaoning, got
something of a scare when he realized the puppy dog he was raising was actually
a young wolf.
The man, surnamed Wang, bought
the puppy last month and kept it with his other dogs in his backyard. He first
became alarmed when he heard it howling at night. On Saturday, he called an
expert who identified the animal as being 100-percent wolf.
