China gets warmer in January

China's temperature averaged to a record minus 3.1 degrees Celsius in January, the warmest January since 1961, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) said. In most parts of China, the average temperature was one to four degrees higher than in previous years, with Inner Mongolia posting the biggest increase. Changes to atmospheric circulation was the main reasons behind the higher temperature as cold air moved into the Western Hemisphere in January, said the CMA.
