中央宣传部原副部长、中央网信办原主任鲁炜被“双开”

日前，经中共中央批准，中共中央纪委对中央宣传部原副部长、中央网信办原主任鲁炜严重违纪问题立案审查。

Lu Wei, the former head of China's internet watchdog, has been dismissed from public office and expelled from the Party for multiple offenses, including taking bribes, the top anti-graft agency said.
因受贿等多项违纪问题，中纪委决定给予中央网信办原主任鲁炜开除党籍、开除公职处分。

这里的“开除党籍、开除公职（be dismissed from public office and expelled from the Party）”就是“双开”。

对于鲁炜的严重违纪问题，新华社是这样翻译的：

阳奉阴违、欺骗中央
while appearing obedient, he had covertly refused to implement Party decisions
