British insurance company Endsleigh recently launched its "Spoiler Cover" package, which allows Game of Thrones fans to receive financial compensation for plotlines ruined by friends, family or social media.
英国恩兹利保险公司近日推出了一款"剧透险"套餐，可让权游迷在被朋友、家人或社交媒体剧透后获得经济补偿。

With the HBO series' grand finale expected to air in the UK at 9pm on Monday, a full 19 hours after the final episode airs in the US, the chances of plot leaks ruining fans' viewing experience are pretty high.

"Game of Thrones is one of the biggest shows of the last decade and the finale promises to bring in some of the largest audiences on record," Julia Alpan, head of marketing at Endsleigh, said.

>Koalas face extinction

Koala numbers have fallen so low across Australia that the species is now "functionally extinct", animal campaigners believe.

The Australian Koala Foundation said there may be as few as 80,000 of the animals left in the wild, meaning they are unlikely to produce a new generation.

The foundation says that, since 2010, it has monitored 128 federal electorates that fall within known koala environments, and in 41 there are no koalas left.

The biggest threats to koalas are habitat loss and heatwaves caused by climate change.

A painting from Claude Monet's "Haystacks" series has sold for $110.7 million, making it the most expensive impressionist artwork ever to be bought at auction.

The auction house says it's a world auction record for the artist and the first work of impressionist art to cross the $100 million threshold at auction.

It took six bidders just eight minutes to reach a record-breaking sum for the oil painting, which went to an anonymous bidder.

The 1890 painting is one of only four works from Monet's acclaimed "Haystacks" series to come to auction this century.
