A hummingbird-sized dinosaur identified from a skull trapped in amber may be the smallest dinosaur from the Mesozoic Era ever found, according to a paper newly published in renowned scientific journal Nature.
著名科学期刊《自然》最新发表的一份研究报告显示，人们在琥珀中发现的一块头骨化石来自一种和蜂鸟差不多大小的恐龙，这可能是迄今为止出土的最小的中生代恐龙。

Scientists investigated the tiny, exceptionally well-preserved birdlike skull found in amber excavated from northern Myanmar's Hukawng Valley in 2016.

Radioisotope dating of zircon crystals in the amber from this site suggests it was roughly 99 million years old.

The skull is only 7.1 millimeters long, indicating the dinosaur was similar in size to the bee hummingbird – the smallest living bird.

A video featuring a catchy Vietnamese song and an accompanying dance about the necessity of hand-washing during the coronavirus crisis has racked up more than 2 million views on video app TikTok.

Cribbing the tune from pop song Jealous – or Ghen in Vietnamese – by singers Erik and Min, the ministry of health released an animated video with lyrics telling its citizens to "push back the virus Corona, Corona".

The song provides guidance on how to prevent an infection, such as washing hands by "rub, rub, rubbing evenly" and limiting "visits to crowded places".

>Third-hand smoke is dangerous

A new study out of Yale University says third-hand smoke - the tobacco contaminants that adhere to walls, bedding, carpet and other surfaces until a room smells like an ashtray - can actually cling to a smoker's body and clothes as well.
耶鲁大学的一项新研究指出，三手烟事实上也会附着在吸烟者的身体和衣服上。三手烟即吸附在墙壁、床单被褥、地毯和其他表面的烟草污染物，让整个房间闻起来像烟灰缸。

Those potentially toxic chemicals, including nicotine, can then be released into environments where smoking has never occurred, like your movie theater, according to the study.

Even more disturbing: The study found those chemical exposure levels could be the equivalent of between one and 10 cigarettes by the end of the movie.

"People are substantial carriers of third-hand smoke contaminants to other environments," said study author Drew Gentner, an associate professor of chemical and environmental engineering at Yale.
