>Van Gogh painting stolen
梵高诞辰日其名画遭窃

A painting by Vincent Van Gogh has been stolen after burglars broke into a Dutch museum that is closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic.
窃贼闯入荷兰一家因新冠疫情闭馆的博物馆，盗走了一幅文森特·梵高的画作。

Van Gogh's "The Parsonage Garden at Nuenen in Spring," painted in 1884, was taken from the Singer Laren Museum, which lies just outside Amsterdam, in the early hours of Monday morning.
当地时间30日凌晨，梵高创作于1884年的画作《纽南春天里的牧师花园》在阿姆斯特丹郊外的辛格·拉伦博物馆被盗。

The painting was stolen on what would have been the Dutch master's 167th birthday.

The painting has now been added to Interpol's list of stolen artworks, police said.

The authorities have so far not issued a statement about how much the artwork might be worth.

The painting was on loan from the Groninger Museum.

The burglars broke into the museum about 3:15 am local time, according to police.

Images from the scene of the burglary show that the glass doors at the front of the museum were smashed during the break-in.

The police are appealing for information from the public to assist their investigation.

China will increase screening of asymptomatic patients of COVID-19 and expand testing to close contacts of infected patients, in an effort to prevent a possible domestic resurge of the outbreak, according to a decision made at a meeting led by Premier Li Keqiang on Monday.

The meeting of the leading group of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on coping with the novel coronavirus pneumonia underlined the importance of prioritizing the monitoring, tracking, isolation and treatment of asymptomatic cases, to consolidate the country's epidemic containment efforts.

Asymptomatic COVID-19 patients refer to those who do not show any symptoms, including fever and cough, but their tests for the novel coronavirus are positive.

The infection rate is usually very high for those who have close contacts with asymptomatic novel coronavirus carriers.

The coronavirus pandemic could kill up to 200,000 Americans and millions more could be infected, the US government's leading expert warned. Dr Anthony Fauci, the face of the Trump administration's coronavirus task force, made the prediction on Sunday.

The Tokyo Olympic Games has been rescheduled to July 23 to Aug 8, 2021, the Tokyo 2020 organizing committee announced on Monday. The Paralympic Games will be held from Aug 24 to Sept 5 next year.
东京奥组委30日宣布，东京奥运会将改在2021年7月23日至8月8日举行；残奥会将于同年的8月24日至9月5日举行。

The IOC also announced the date in a statement on its official website, saying it is a decision jointly made by IOC, the IPC, the Tokyo organizing committee, and the Tokyo metropolitan government, and the government of Japan, after talks via telephone conference earlier on Monday.
国际奥委会也在官网上发布的一则声明中公布了该日期，并表示这是国际奥委会、国际残奥会、东京奥组委、东京都政府以及日本政府在30日通过电话会议进行商讨后共同决定的。

Tokyo 2020 president Yoshiro Mori told a news conference that the decision is important for relaunching the Games.
