>Mars probe marks first step
'天问一号'首次轨道修正
China's Mars probe Tianwen-1 successfully carried out its first orbital correction Sunday morning, according to the China National Space Administration (CNSA).
据国家航天局消息，北京时间8月2日，中国火星探测器"天问一号"成功实施了首次轨道修正。
The probe conducted the orbital correction at 7 am (Beijing Time) after its 3,000 N engine worked for 20 seconds, and continued to head for Mars.
当日早7时，"天问一号"3000牛发动机工作20秒完成了轨道修正，并继续飞向火星。
Before the orbital correction, the Mars probe had traveled more than 230 hours in space, and was about 3 million km away from the Earth. All the systems of the probe were in good condition.
此次轨道修正前，"天问一号"已在太空中飞行逾230个小时，距地球约300万公里，所有系统均状态良好。
The probe will undergo several orbital corrections in a more than six-month journey to Mars, said the CNSA source.
国家航天局表示，在6个多月前往火星的旅途中，"天问一号"将进行多次轨道修正。
The Mars probe is expected to reach the red planet around February 2021.
预计"天问一号"火星探测器将在2021年2月前后到达火星。
After entering the orbit, it will spend another two to three months surveying the candidate landing sites before landing.
进入轨道后，"天问一号"还会在着陆前花两三个月对候选着陆点进行考察。

>Surge in duty-free shopping
海南免税品销售额激增
China's island province of Hainan has recorded 2.219 billion yuan in duty-free shopping by tourists from July 1 to 27, up 234.19% from the same period last year, the General Administration of Customs said. During the period, about 281,000 tourists visited the island, up 42.71% year-on-year.
海关总署近日表示，7月1日至27日，海关共监管海南离岛免税销售金额22.19亿元、购物旅客约28.1万人次，较去年同期分别增长234.19%、42.71%。
Starting from July 1, Hainan has increased its annual tax-free shopping quota from 30,000 yuan to 100,000 yuan per person each year.
从7月1日起，海南离岛旅客每年每人免税购物额度由3万元提至10万元。
The range of duty-free goods has also expanded, growing from 38 categories to 45, while the previous tax-free limit of 8,000 yuan for a single product has been lifted.
离岛免税商品品种由38种增至45种，取消单件商品8000元免税限额规定。
China released a master plan in early June on building the southern island province into a globally influential free trade port.
6月初，我国发布了一项总体方案，拟将海南建设成为具有全球影响力的自由贸易港。
