The Ministry of Commerce is holding an online Lunar New Year's Shopping Festival, which began on Jan 20 and will last 30 days. Consumers can buy various ready-to-cook dishes via grocery apps and e-commerce platforms.

商务部最新数据显示，自1月20日“2021全国网上年货节”开启，至29日（腊月初八至腊月十七）的10天，全国网络零售额达3441.1亿元人民币。期间，全国在线餐饮交易额同比增长49.6%，外卖同比增长60.7%，半成品、特色年菜同比分别增长375.6%和122.2%。其中，中西部地区网络零售额同比增速较快，广西、江西分别增长35.9%和22.5%。
商务部表示，年货节期间，各地通过政企联动、区域联动、商旅文联动等多种方式，结合特色产业发展和公益助农等举措，打出网上过年“组合拳”，让消费者饱眼福、享口福、晒幸福。同时，各地结合疫情防控要求和春节消费特点，围绕“就地过年”人群需求，丰富特色产品与服务，让消费者品家乡味、享家乡情，在当地安心过年。
