北京冬奥赛程过半佳绩频传

The Beijing Olympics has been running smoothly going into its second week of competition, said Yang Shu'an, vice president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games (BOCOG), at a daily briefing on Sunday.
2月13日，在北京冬奥会每日例行新闻发布会上，北京冬奥组委副主席杨树安表示 ，北京冬奥会赛程已过半，赛事运行进展顺利。

Yang said all competition venues have been in good condition, providing the best platform for athletes to show their level.
杨树安表示，在已经完成的比赛中，各个竞赛场馆的比赛场地一直保持着良好的状态，为参赛运动员展示自身水平提供了最佳的平台。

The fierce competitions in Beijing have seen a number of Olympic records broken and two new world records, Yang said.
杨树安说，截至目前，本届冬奥会已有多项奥运会纪录和2项世界纪录被打破。

The Games also draws enormous attention from the world. International Olympic Committee spokesperson Mark Adams said Beijing 2022 had received record viewings from around the world.
北京冬奥会在全球引发巨大关注。国际奥委会新闻发言人马克·亚当斯介绍，北京冬奥会已经成为迄今收视率最高的一届冬奥会。

>Progress in Central Axis application to world heritage list
北京中轴线申遗实现新突破

Beijing has made progress in the application for its Central Axis to be included in the list of world cultural heritage sites, said Liu Hongchang, spokesperson for the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, at a press conference on Sunday.
2月13日，北京市文物局新闻发言人刘洪昌在新闻发布会上介绍，北京中轴线申遗实现新突破。

According to a three-year action plan on the conservation of the Central Axis, projects related to cultural relics protection, environmental improvement, and resident relocation have been going well, Liu said.
刘洪昌表示，北京市高标准推进《中轴线申遗保护三年行动计划》，保护修缮、环境整治、搬迁腾退等任务不断取得进展。

"Our draft application text was submitted to the World Heritage Center for format review ahead of schedule," Liu said.
目前，北京中轴线申遗文本草案已提前报送世界遗产中心格式审查。

The Beijing Central Axis is 7.8 kilometers long, starting in the south of the city from Yongding Gate and ending with the Drum Tower and Bell Tower in the north. Most of the significant old-city buildings of Beijing are along this axis.
北京中轴线北起钟鼓楼，南至永定门，长7.8公里，将诸多古代建筑瑰宝串联在一起。

'十四五'时期将规范演员片酬

China has released a development plan for the production of TV series, stepping up the regulation of the income distribution system and pay levels for performers.
近日，国家广播电视总局印发《“十四五”中国电视剧发展规划》, 规范包括演员片酬在内的收入分配秩序。

The plan, released by the National Radio and Television Administration, is aimed at promoting fair competition in TV series production, preventing vicious expansion of capital, and encouraging healthy interactions between capital and the development of the industry.
规划旨在促进电视剧市场公平竞争，防止资本无序扩张，鼓励资本与产业良性互动。

The administration will push for standardized and institutionalized payment contracts in a unified form in the next few years, according to the plan. It said malpractices, including tax evasion and the provision of payments significantly higher than normal levels, will be seriously dealt with.
规划要求，"十四五"时期将推广使用标准化、制度化、制式统一的片酬等劳务合同，将严肃处理偷逃税、“天价片酬”等违法违规行为。

>Conditional approval for Pfizer's oral COVID-19 drug
辉瑞新冠口服药获附条件批准上市

China's drug regulator on Friday granted conditional approval for the imports of Pfizer's Paxlovid COVID-19 pill.
2月11日，国家药监局附条件批准辉瑞公司新冠病毒治疗药物奈玛特韦片/利托那韦片组合包装(即Paxlovid)进口注册。

The pill is a small-molecule oral drug, a co-package of antiviral drugs nirmatrelvir tablets and ritonavir tablets, for adults who are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms and who are at a higher risk of becoming more seriously ill, according to the National Medical Products Administration. It can be given to patients who, for instance, are older in age or have chronic renal diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and chronic lung diseases.
国家药监局表示，Paxlovid属小分子口服药，可用于治疗成人伴有进展为重症高风险因素的轻至中度新冠肺炎患者，例如伴有高龄、慢性肾脏疾病、糖尿病、心血管病、慢性肺病等重症高风险因素的患者。
