3月债券通交投稳定 China's Bond Connect market remains vibrant in March

3月，债券通交投稳定，国债和政策性金融债交易最为活跃。

The monthly trading volume under China's Bond Connect program reached 647.8 billion yuan, with the average daily turnover at 28.2 billion yuan, data released by Bond Connect Co., Ltd. showed.

债券通公司最新发布的债券通运行报告显示，3月份债券通北向通共成交6478亿元人民币，日均交易量达282亿元人民币。

The program saw a total of 9,142 trade tickets last month, the data showed.

数据显示，债券通北向通共计成交9142笔。

Chinese government bonds and policy financial bonds were investors' major focus, accounting for 51 percent and 33 percent of monthly trading volume, respectively.

其中，国债和政策性金融债交投最为活跃，分别占51%和33%。

By the end of March, Bond Connect had 3,453 approved investors, according to the data.

到三月底，债券通获批入市境外投资者数量已达3453家。

债券通（the Bond Connect program）是内地与香港债券市场（bond market）互联互通的创新合作机制，境内外投资者可通过香港与内地债券市场基础设施机构连接，买卖香港与内地债券市场交易流通债券。“北向通”于2017年7月开通（launched in July 2017），便利国际投资者（overseas investors）参与中国银行间债券市场（Chinese mainland's interbank bond market）。“南向通”（Southbound Bond Connect）于2021年9月24日上线（officially launched on 24 September 2021），旨在为内地机构投资者提供便捷和高效的渠道（provide a convenient channel for Mainland institutional investors），透过香港债券市场投资境外债券。
