央企“十四五”加大投资新基建

China's State-owned enterprises plan to invest over 10 trillion yuan in more than 1,300 "new infrastructure"-related projects across the country during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), injecting new impetus into efforts to sustain economic growth, said senior State-asset regulators.
国资委高级官员6月17日介绍，“十四五”期间（2021-2025年）中央企业规划投资新基建项目1300多个，总投资超过10万亿元，为经济持续增长注入新动力。

Unlike traditional infrastructure such as railways, roads and water conservancy, "new infrastructure" refers to major facilities based on information technologies like 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial internet, and the internet of things.
和铁路、公路、水利等传统基建不同，新基建是指基于5G、人工智能、工业互联网和物联网等信息技术的关键基础设施。

> China honors Shenzhou-13 astronauts with medals
翟志刚、王亚平、叶光富获颁航天功勋奖章

Three astronauts from the Shenzhou-13 crewed mission were awarded medals Tuesday for their service to China's space endeavors.
6月21日，神舟十三号航天员三人组获颁航天功勋奖章。

Zhai Zhigang and Wang Yaping were honored with second-class aerospace achievement medals, while Ye Guangfu received a third-class medal and the honorary title "heroic astronaut." The awards were given by the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the State Council and the Central Military Commission.
中共中央、国务院、中央军委决定，给翟志刚、王亚平同志颁发“二级航天功勋奖章”，授予叶光富同志“英雄航天员”荣誉称号并颁发“三级航天功勋奖章”。

> 260 leading companies confirm participation in 5th CIIE
第五届进博会已签约世界500强和行业龙头企业260家

A total of 260 Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises have confirmed their participation in the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), the organizing committee said on Tuesday. Preparations for the expo are progressing smoothly, and the event will be held in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10.
进博会组委会称，第五届进博会已签约的世界500强和行业龙头企业达到260家，各项筹备工作稳步推进，第五届进博会将于今年11月5日至10日在上海举办。

> COP15 event relocated, China keeps presidency
COP15第二阶段会议将调整至加拿大举行

The second phase of the United Nations' negotiations on the world's new biodiversity conservation goals through 2030, known as COP15, has been relocated from Kunming, Yunnan province, to the Canadian city of Montreal, between Dec 5 and 17, according to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
据生态环境部网站消息，联合国《生物多样性公约》缔约方大会第十五次会议（COP15）第二阶段会议将于2022年12月5-17日在加拿大蒙特利尔举行。

With the COVID-19 pandemic control situations at home and abroad fully considered, the arrangement was made to "accelerate the global biodiversity conservation process," it said.

"China will continue to work as the presidency of COP15. " The theme of the gathering and its logo will remain unchanged.
