11月1日，中国（新疆）自由贸易试验区揭牌仪式在新疆维吾尔自治区乌鲁木齐市举行，标志着新疆自贸试验区建设全面启动。该自贸试验区是我国西北沿边地区首个自由贸易试验区。

The Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the first in China's northwestern border regions, officially started operations on Wednesday. An unveiling ceremony for the FTZ was held in Urumqi, the regional capital city.

中国（新疆）自由贸易试验区实施范围179.66平方公里，涵盖乌鲁木齐片区134.6平方公里（含新疆生产建设兵团第十二师30.8平方公里，乌鲁木齐综合保税区2.41平方公里），喀什片区28.48平方公里（含新疆生产建设兵团第三师3.81平方公里，喀什综合保税区3.56平方公里），霍尔果斯片区16.58平方公里（含新疆生产建设兵团第四师1.95平方公里，霍尔果斯综合保税区3.61平方公里）。

据介绍，未来，新疆将立足资源禀赋、区位优势和产业基础，高标准高质量推进中国（新疆）自由贸易试验区建设，将其打造成思想解放先行区、制度创新试验田、产业集聚增长极、扩大开放新高地、营商环境样板区，经过3至5年改革探索，把中国（新疆）自由贸易试验区建设成为营商环境优良、投资贸易便利、优势产业聚集、要素资源共享、管理协同高效、辐射带动作用突出的高标准高质量自由贸易园区，为新疆融入国内国际双循环，服务“一带一路”核心区建设，助力创建亚欧黄金通道和我国向西开放桥头堡作出积极贡献。

要坚持党的全面领导，坚持以高水平开放为引领、以制度创新为核心，统筹发展和安全，高标准对接国际经贸规则，深入推进制度型开放，加强改革整体谋划和系统集成，推动全产业链创新发展，让自贸试验区更好发挥示范作用。
