波兰总统选举第二轮投票10月23日结束。初步计票结果显示，现任华沙市长、法律与公正党总统候选人卡钦斯基以超过半数以上的得票获胜。据选票统计结果显示，卡钦斯基获得54.47%的选票，其竞争对手中右翼政党公民纲领党候选人图斯克的得票率为45.53%。

这里的runoff指的是“决定性竞选”，用英文解释就是a final election to resolve an earlier
election that did not produce a winner。Runoff election也可表达此意。Runoff
vote则表示“决选投票”。在选举中还有其它一些术语，如：a general election（普选）。
此外，runoff还可指“径流”，如：China's total runoff volume of rivers and creeks is
2,700 billion cubic meters.
