"内韦"和"格利兹"
"内韦"的形象是一个身着红色服装的小女孩，长着一副圆圆的脑袋，形状宛如雪球；"格利兹"则是一个身穿蓝色服装的小男孩，长着一个方脑袋，形状宛如小方冰块。它们象征着冬季奥运会项目中不可缺少的两种元素--雪和冰。
"Neve": she is a gentle, kind and elegant snowball;
"Gliz": he is a lively, playful ice cube. They are the two symbolic characters
of the XX Olympic Winter Games. They complement each other and personify the
very essence of winter sports.
