世界著名设计大师乔治·阿玛尼回顾展于4月2日在上海美术馆拉开帷幕。被阿玛尼称作“东方美神”的著名影星章子怡以超级嘉宾身份出席。章子怡与阿玛尼相识于阿玛尼品牌成立30周年庆典上，初次见面，阿玛尼就毫不掩饰自己对这位中国女演员的喜爱，他表示：“章子怡的身材具有典型的东方美，这非常适合阿玛尼各种东方款式的衣服。”此次展览将持续至5月3日，共展出40余件服装、原作草图和视听展示，阿玛尼职业生涯的各个不同时期设计的服装都将囊括其中。

The dainty beauty looked delighted to welcome the style guru, who has dressed her at a string of recent award shows, as he arrived at gala event at Shanghai Grand Theatre. The exclusive fashion show was the first ever presentation of Armani couture in the Asian country. The Italian designer was behind stunning appearances by Ziyi at the Golden Globes - where she dazzled in a custom-made lime green organza gown - and the Baftas, where she opted for a shimmering strapless creation. His seamstresses also toiled for three weeks to create her Swarovski crystal-encrusted number for the Oscars. With Armani equally outspoken in his admiration for the petite star their collaboration looks set to continue for some time. "I was attracted to her as a whole," he enthuses, praising her for having a "seemingly fragile body accompanied by such a strong personality". The retrospective can be viewed at Shanghai Art Museum until May 3. The exquisite Chinese actress was the perfect choice to help him open a gala event in Shanghai. "I like the way Ziyi moves and wears my clothes" he says. "They seem as though they have been hers all along." (China Daily)
