rats to locate landmines in Colombia, "the rats are much smarter than the
anti-explosives dogs, and can stand on a mine without anything happening",
Police Colonel Javier Cifuentes, head of the training program said Colombia had
the world's highest number of mine-related deaths and injuries last year.
