因饰演“阿甘”而名声大噪的汤姆·汉克斯向来甚得“民”心。根据著名民意调查机构Gallup最新一轮调查，汤姆·汉克斯成为美国当下最受欢迎的影星，约有44%受访者愿意入场欣赏他主演的电影。与之相比，汤姆·克鲁斯就没有那么好运了。有34%受访者表示对汤姆·克鲁斯没兴趣，这位上镜率颇高的“人气王”竟成了最不受欢迎的好莱坞演员！此外，性感影星、布拉德·皮特女友安吉丽娜·茱丽居“最不受欢迎影星”第二。

When it comes to
ruling the roost in Hollywood, a new
poll has found that no other actor pulls in the masses as much as Tom Hanks.
The survey of 1,003 adults conducted from Nov. 27 to Nov. 29 by Gallup, found
that 44 percent of movie goers will go out of the way to watch one of the
'Forrest Gump' star's movies.
Coming in right behind Hanks was movie great Robert De
Niro with 33 percent of the votes, followed by 'Pretty Woman' Julia Roberts
in third place with 29
percent of the votes, reports the New York Daily News.
The fourth most popular stars in Hollywood are Will Smith and Sandra Bullock
followed closely with 27 percent of the votes.
The top five was rounded off by Mel Gibson in fifth place with 26 percent of
the votes.
As for the stars that movie-goers will go out of the way to avoid, well
topping that list was actor Tom Cruise with 34 percent of the votes.
Brad Pitt's lady love Angelina Jolie may be considered one of the
hottest women in Hollywood, but it seems that she won't be drawing in the crowd,
after coming in at the second spot with 18 percent of the votes.
Mel Gibson found himself on this list too, for he came in hot on Jolie's
heels with 15 percent of the votes.
