近日，中国遥感卫星地面站成功接收陆地生态系统碳监测卫星数据。中国科学院空天信息创新研究院称，地面站三次接收任务总时长为25分钟，数据量约306GB。该陆地生态系统碳监测卫星于8月4日在太原卫星发射中心由长征四号乙运载火箭成功发射。

China has received data from its newly launched terrestrial ecosystem carbon monitoring satellite. Ground stations have tracked and received the data from the satellite in three tasks, which lasted 25 minutes with a total size of 306 GB, said the Aerospace Information Research Institute under the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The satellite was carried into space on Thursday by a Long March-4B rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province.

陆地生态系统碳监测卫星主要用于陆地生态系统碳监测、陆地生态和资源调查监测、国家重大生态工程监测评价，并为环保、测绘、气象、农业、减灾等领域提供业务支撑和研究服务。8月4日，我国首颗陆地生态系统碳监测卫星“句芒号”发射成功。“句芒号”卫星是国家民用空间基础设施中长期发展规划中的科研卫星，运行于高度为506公里、倾角97.4度的太阳同步轨道。通过激光、多角度、多光谱、超光谱、偏振等综合遥感手段，能实现植被生物量、大气气溶胶、植被叶绿素荧光等要素的探测和测量。

“句芒号”这个名字来自我国民间神话。句芒，是古代民间神话中的木神、春神，主管树木发芽生长，象征对自然环境的敬畏与责任。“句芒号”的用途非常广泛，将应用于陆地生态系统碳监测、陆地生态和资源调查监测、大气环境监测和气候变化中气溶胶作用研究等工作。此外，“句芒号”还将服务高程控制点获取、灾害监测评估、农情遥感监测等需求，显著提高我国陆地遥感定量化水平。“句芒号”卫星在轨运行后，采用主被动结合的遥感体制，可获取全球森林碳汇的多要素遥感信息，提高碳汇计量的效率和精度，转变传统的人工碳汇计量手段，为我国碳达峰、碳中和目标的实现提供重要支撑，助力我国对森林、草原、湿地和沙化土地等的统计监测核算能力建设。
