5月5日召开的国务院常务会议审议通过关于加快发展先进制造业集群的意见。会议指出，要把发展先进制造业集群摆到更加突出位置，坚持全国一盘棋，引导各地发挥比较优势，在专业化、差异化、特色化上下功夫。

China's State Council has deliberated and adopted a guideline on accelerating the development of advanced manufacturing clusters, according to a State Council executive meeting on Friday. The meeting called for greater priority to be given to the development of advanced manufacturing clusters, taking the whole country into account, guiding all localities to leverage their comparative advantages and intensifying work related to specialization and differentiation.

发展先进制造业集群，是推动产业迈向中高端、提升产业链供应链韧性和安全水平的重要抓手，有利于形成协同创新、人才集聚、降本增效等规模效应和竞争优势。

2022年11月，工信部正式公布45个国家先进制造业集群的名单。这45个国家先进制造业集群中，新一代信息技术领域13个、高端装备领域13个、新材料领域7个、生物医药及高端医疗器械领域5个、消费品领域4个、新能源及智能网联汽车领域3个。

数据显示，45个国家先进制造业集群2021年主导产业产值达19万亿元，布局建设了18家国家制造业创新中心，培育创建了170余家国家级单项冠军企业、2200余家国家级专精特新“小巨人”企业，成为推动制造业高质量发展的重要载体。

坚持把发展经济的着力点放在实体经济上，推进新型工业化，加快建设制造强国、质量强国、航天强国、交通强国、网络强国、数字中国。实施产业基础再造工程和重大技术装备攻关工程，支持专精特新企业发展，推动制造业高端化、智能化、绿色化发展。
