And I'm Beth. Happy New Year, Feifei! In this programme, we have an expression that means 'have something good to offer in a situation', and it is 'bring something to the party'.

Feifei
Bring something to the party. 这个表达的字面意思是 “带某样东西参加聚会”，但它实际所表达的意思是 “拥有对某个情况或局面有益的特质，比如技能、经验、资金”。

Beth
That's right. We don't usually use it literally. For example, you are a great presenter, a talented writer, you have a PhD and you bring amazing food to work. You bring a lot to the party, Feifei.
