据报道，萨达姆和7名前政权的官员将于今日出庭受审。萨达姆的律师哈利勒·杜莱米说，他在第一天的审判中将向法官提出申请延期审判三个月，以便准备辩护以及联络其他一些律师组成律师团为萨达姆辩护。伊拉克检察人员指控萨达姆在1982年制造了"杜贾尔村惨案"。如果罪名成立，萨达姆将可能被判处死刑。
