报道中的anti-graft agency也可写做“anti-corruption agency”，指的是“反贪机构”，中文里的“反贪局”、“反贪小组”或“反贪委员会”都可用“anti-graft agency/ anti-corruption agency”来表示。

Graft在这里指“贪污、受贿、赃物”，如：The agency tries to clear the graft, waste and inefficiency out of government.（该机构试图消灭政府中贪赃枉法、挥霍浪费和效率低下等现象。）另外，graft也可用作动词，指“用不正当方法谋取”。

此外，graft常用来形容“植物嫁接”、“皮肤移植”，如：a skin graft on the burnt leg（移植在烫伤腿上的皮肤）。
