In Sichuan province's city of Shifang, 30,000 quake survivors are moving into new accommodations after the Shenzhen city government dispatched over 11,000 temporary homes.
Shifang was badly hit by last month's earthquake which destroyed most of the homes there. Survivors have been living in temporary tents since the disaster. And in late May, the Shenzhen city government in southern China started building temporary houses in 11 towns. 11,000 units including schools, hospitals and kitchens were completed in less than a month.
The survivors are looking forward to starting a new life in their new homes. And in Pengzhou, the Jiangxi provincial government has provided 600 temporary houses for over 1,000 survivors.
