- Are you free this evening, Li?
- Ron:
- Li? 今天晚上你有空吗？
- Li:
- I’m afraid I’m busy tonight. I’m having dinner with friends.
- Li:

- What a pity. I wanted to go for a drink with you.

- Nothing much. I’m going to the cinema on Friday night but that’s all I have planned.
- Dong:

- So you’re free on Saturday night?
- Jane:
- 这么说，你周六晚上有空，对吗？
- Dong:
- That’s right.
- Dong:
- 对。
- Jane:
- Would you like to have dinner with me?
- Jane:

- Oh, that would be lovely. Shall we say seven o’clock?

- Jane:
