指南说，“最得意的妈妈”不是那些在顶尖私校门口接送孩子的母亲，而是送孩子进入最好的公校的母亲。

《Tatler》说，交学费接受教育“并不总是值得”，好的学校也不见得“就贵的吓人”。

这是该杂志第二次出版“国立学校指南”，今年名单上的公立学校有34所，比去年多了4所。

名单上的国立学校包括伦敦诺丁山的福克斯小学（Fox primary），这所小学去年取得全英格兰最佳的成绩表现。

在伦敦威斯敏斯特的女子综合中学——“The Grey Coat Hospital school”也在名单上，前教育大臣戈夫的女儿就在该校上学，首相卡梅伦也考虑让自己的女儿入读这所中学。

上流社会

有300年历史的《Tatler》杂志是一本针对上流社会的时尚、生活品味和政治的杂志。

过去10多年来该杂志每年都会发表一篇私立学校的教育指南，但是去年初该杂志不同以往的首次发表了国立学校指南。

该杂志表示，介绍最受欢迎、一位难求的国立学校的指南深受其读者欢迎。

“有时候花钱并没有带来最高价值，正确的选择并不一定是最贵的，重要的是要考虑所有选项，研究再研究。”

指南说，顶尖的国立学校具备“有效管理，优秀师资，聪颖学生，顶尖成绩，设备齐全”。
