由报道可知，“便衣保安”可用“undercover security guard”来形容。“Security guard”指的是“保安”，“undercover”在此表示“便衣的，秘密从事的”，如：undercover investigation（秘密调查）；undercover FBI agent（联邦调查局密探）；undercover policeman（便衣警察）。
