We all dream of coins falling down from heaven. But the reality of such a shower is a lot less romantic – and a lot more painful – than one might expect. Many pilgrims prayed for blessings at the Guiyuan Temple in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, by throwing coins into the temple's main hall on Feb 23. However, when the temple's employees came out to collect the coins, they had to wear helmets to protect themselves from the rain of falling coins.

Who threw coins into the temple hall?

A. Tourists

B. Pilgrims

C. The temple's employees
