Britain's oldest travel company Thomas Cook has gone into liquidation and an operation has begun to repatriate 150,000 of its passengers stranded overseas.

The 178-year-old holiday company, also one of the world's biggest, collapsed after last-minute negotiations aimed at saving it failed, triggering what is being described as the biggest-ever peacetime repatriation since World War II.

The US Navy has finally acknowledged footage purported to show UFOs hurtling through the air.

The objects seen in three clips of declassified military footage are "unidentified aerial phenomena," Navy spokesperson Joe Gradisher confirmed to CNN.

China's first specifications for online accommodation platforms was released on Monday in Beijing, in an effort to improve online accommodation services, protect rights and interests of consumers and strengthen self-discipline of the platforms, according to the State Information Center.
根据国家信息中心消息，23日，我国在北京发布了首个在线住宿平台规范，旨在完善在线住宿服务，保护消费者权益，加强平台的自我约束。
The standard will be applied to hotels, inns, homestays and other accommodation facilities that carry out online business activities.
该标准将适用于酒店、旅馆、寄宿家庭等开展在线业务活动的住宿设施。
The specification defines main responsibilities of the platforms and their operators, in the aspects of information filling, review, and release, reservation and evaluation, and privacy protection.
在线住宿平台规范就信息的填写、审查和发布、预订评价、隐私保护等方面明确了在线平台和其经营者的主要责任。
According to the specification, the platform should also establish an emergency assistance service mechanism. When users encounter accidents and emergencies, the platforms should provide emergency services related to accommodation.
根据规范，住宿平台还应建立紧急援助服务机制，当住客遇到意外和紧急情况时，平台应当提供住宿相关的紧急服务。
