文化和旅游部表示，2019年文化和旅游扶贫工作扎实推进，为贫困地区村文化活动室购置设备、送戏下乡等一系列帮扶项目有力实施，丰富了村民生活。
China made solid progress in reducing poverty through the promotion of culture and tourism in poor areas in 2019, said the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A series of programs have been implemented such as funding cultural activity facilities in poor villages and bringing traditional Chinese opera performances to the countryside to enrich villagers' lives, said the ministry.

2019年，文化和旅游系统有力为打赢脱贫攻坚战贡献文化力量、旅游力量。其中包括：为贫困地区村文化活动室购置设备、送戏下乡、“春雨工程”等惠民项目；实施国家院团支持帮扶机制，国家艺术基金对扶贫题材艺术作品予以重点支持；投入资金3571万元，支持设立263家非遗扶贫就业工坊等；为“三区三州”240个重点贫困村编制旅游规划，推出“三区三州”旅游大环线并组织系列推广；支持“三区三州”等深度贫困地区旅游基础设施项目329个，投入资金32.65亿元等。
2020年是全面建成小康社会和“十三五”规划收官之年，脱贫攻坚工作已经进入决战决胜的关键阶段。文化和旅游部相关司局和直属单位要进一步提高思想认识，强化责任担当，以深度贫困地区和定点扶贫县为重点，立足自身优势，聚焦艺术创作、产业发展、旅游扶贫、消费扶贫、非遗扶贫等重点领域，扎实推进重点工作，狠抓工作落实。

【重要讲话】
坚持大扶贫格局，注重扶贫同扶志、扶智相结合，深入实施东西部扶贫协作，重点攻克深度贫困地区脱贫任务，确保到二〇二〇年我国现行标准下农村贫困人口实现脱贫，贫困县全部摘帽，解决区域性整体贫困，做到脱真贫、真脱贫。
We will continue to advance poverty reduction drawing on the joint efforts of government, society, and the market. We will pay particular attention to helping people increase confidence in their own ability to lift themselves out of poverty and see that they can access the education they need to do so. We will strengthen collaboration on poverty alleviation between the eastern and western regions; and we will provide focused assistance to areas of extreme poverty. We must ensure that by the year 2020, all rural residents living below the current poverty line have been lifted out of poverty, and poverty is eliminated in all poor counties and regions. Poverty alleviation should reach those who truly need it and deliver genuine outcomes.
