>De Havilland dies aged 104
'乱世佳人'传奇女星去世
Hollywood legend Olivia de Havilland, star of "Gone With the Wind", died on Sunday at the age of 104 at her home in Paris. Publicist Lisa Goldberg said she died peacefully of natural causes.
7月26日，曾出演《乱世佳人》的好莱坞传奇女星奥利维娅•德•哈维兰在其巴黎的家中安详去世，享年104岁。公关人员丽莎•高登伯格称，哈维兰是自然死亡。
The doe-eyed actress beloved to millions as the sainted Melanie Wilkes in "Gone With the Wind" also won two Oscars and was key to improving Hollywood's contract system for actors.
有着小鹿般眼睛的哈维兰凭借在《乱世佳人》中饰演如圣洁善良的梅兰妮•威尔克斯，受到千千万万观众的喜爱。她曾两度获得奥斯卡奖，也是改善好莱坞演员合同制的关键人物。
De Havilland was the sister of fellow Oscar winner Joan Fontaine, with whom she had a troubled relationship.
哈维兰和同为奥斯卡影后的琼•芳登是亲姐妹，但两人的关系势同水火。
During a career that spanned six decades, she also took on roles ranging from an unwed mother to a psychiatric inmate in "The Snake Pit".

She also performed in a series of dramas, Westerns and period pieces, most memorably as Maid Marian in "The Adventures of Robin Hood."

>Key Trump advisor tests positive

Robert O'Brien, national security advisor for US President Donald Trump, has tested positive for the coronavirus, the White House announced on Monday.
白宫7月27日证实，美国总统特朗普的国家安全顾问罗伯特•奥布莱恩新冠病毒检测呈阳性。
"He has mild symptoms and has been self-isolating and working from a secure location off-site. There is no risk of exposure to the president or the vice-president. The work of the National Security Council continues uninterrupted," the White House said in a statement.
白宫在一份声明中表示："他出现了一些轻度症状，一直在自我隔离，并在安全地点远程工作。总统与副总统没有染病风险，国家安全委员会的工作仍在继续。"
Trump told reporters at the White House that he had not had any recent contact with the 54-year-old O'Brien. O'Brien is the most senior White House official known to get the virus, and the closest to Trump.
特朗普在白宫向记者表示，他近期与奥布莱恩没有接触。54岁的奥布莱恩是已知感染新冠病毒的白宫最高级别官员，也是最接近特朗普的人。

>More home working urged
日本呼吁恢复远程办公
Japan's economy minister on Monday urged more telecommuting to contain the spread of the coronavirus as a surge in cases during the past week has sparked worries over a growing burden on the nation's healthcare system.
日本负责新冠疫情应对的官员、经济再生大臣西村康稔7月27日呼吁更多人远程办公，以控制新冠病毒的传播。过去一周日本新增病例大幅增加，引发对医疗系统不堪重负的担忧。
In a video meeting with local governors, Yasutoshi Nishimura, who is also in charge of coronavirus response, called on business leaders to enhance anti-virus measures, such as encouraging the level of telecommuting achieved during Japan's state of emergency earlier this year.
西村康稔当日在与日本各地知事的视频会议上呼吁商界领袖加强防疫措施，例如恢复今年早些时候紧急状态期间实现的员工远程办公比例。
"At one point, commuter numbers were down by 70 to 80%, but now it's only about 30%," Nishimura said. "We really don't want to backtrack on this, so we have to explore new ways of working and raise the proportion of teleworking."

On Monday, 131 new cases were reported in Tokyo, along with rising numbers in other urban areas.

>China's industrial profits up
工业企业利润回升向好
Profits of industrial companies with annual revenue of more than 20 million yuan rose by 4.8% year-on-year in the second quarter, reversing the 36.7% decline in the first quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday.
国家统计局7月27日发布的数据显示，二季度规模以上工业企业利润同比增长4.8%，一季度为下降36.7%，由降转升。
In June alone, major industrial firms saw their profits rise by 11.5% to 666.55 billion yuan, widening by 5.5 percentage points from that in May.
6月全国规模以上工业企业实现利润总额6665.5亿元，同比增长11.5%，增速比5月份加快5.5个百分点。
The quickened growth in industrial production and sales and the moderate drop in the factory-gate prices of industrial products led to the expansion of profits in June, said NBS senior statistician Zhu Hong.
国家统计局高级统计师朱虹表示，工业生产销售增长加快和工业品出厂价格降幅收窄是6月份工业利润增速加快的原因。
