>China initiates recruiting program
教育部启动全国'校园招聘月'

China's Ministry of Education (MOE) launched a month-long recruiting program on Saturday to help over 10 million new college graduates in 2022 secure a job.
为帮助我国2022年1000多万应届大学毕业生就业，教育部于11月20日启动"2022届高校毕业生校园招聘月"系列活动，为期一个月。

Together with 12 major job-hunting agencies, the ministry will hold online recruitment activities and organize at least 10 large-scale national job fairs for key regions, key industries and key groups.
"校园招聘月"期间，教育部门将会同12大社会招聘机构，举办线上招聘活动，集中面向重点区域、重点行业、重点人群组织10场以上全国性大型专场招聘会。

Meanwhile, employment guidance committees and local governments will hold more than 240 job fairs to provide targeted job information for graduates of related majors.
与此同时，全国普通高校就业创业指导委员会和分行业就指委、以及各省(自治区、直辖市)将举办240场以上专场招聘会，为相关专业毕业生精准提供岗位信息。

China is expected to see 10.76 million new graduates from universities and colleges in 2022, 1.67 million more than this year.
2022年，我国高校应届毕业生预计将达到1076万人，比今年增加167万人。

>China-Cambodia FTA to take effect on Jan 1
中柬自贸协定1月1日生效

The free trade agreement (FTA) signed between China and Cambodia will take effect on Jan 1, 2022, according to the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
据商务部消息，《中华人民共和国政府和柬埔寨王国政府自由贸易协定》将于2022年1月1日正式生效实施。

The agreement, which was officially signed on Oct 12, 2020, brings the proportion of zero-tariff products in the goods trade between China and the Southeast Asian nation to more than 90% for both countries, the ministry said. In the document, the two countries agreed to open up to each other as much as possible in the service trade sector.
这项协定于2020年10月12日正式签署。根据协定安排，双方货物贸易零关税产品税目比例均达到90%以上，服务贸易市场开放承诺也体现了各自给予自贸伙伴的最高水平。

Meanwhile, the two sides also agreed to deepen cooperation in investment, the Belt and Road Initiative, e-commerce, and economic and technical sectors, according to commerce.
同时，双方还同意加强投资合作，并深入开展"一带一路"倡议、电子商务、经济技术等领域合作。

The FTA is a new milestone in the development of bilateral economic and trade relations, and will help enhance the well-being of enterprises and people of both countries, MOC said.
中柬自贸协定是双边经贸关系发展新的里程碑，将有助于增进两国企业和人民福祉。

>Renewable energy power capacity at 1b kW
可再生能源发电装机容量翻番

China's installed capacity of renewable energy power generation reached 1 billion kilowatts by the end of October, which doubled the figure from the end of 2015, the National Energy Administration said on Saturday. It accounts for 43.5% of the country's total power installation, 10.2 percentage points higher than in 2015, it said.
国家能源局11月20日发布消息称，截至2021年10月底，我国可再生能源发电累计装机容量突破10亿千瓦大关，比2015年底实现翻番，占全国发电总装机容量的比重达到43.5%，比2015年底提高10.2个百分点。

The installed hydropower capacity stood at 385 million kilowatts, and the installed wind power capacity surged 30.4% year-on-year, to 299 million kilowatts, while solar power capacity rose 23.7% to 282 million kilowatts, all of which have ranked first worldwide, the administration said.
其中，水电、风电、太阳能发电装机容量分别达到3.85亿千瓦、2.99亿千瓦、2.82亿千瓦，均持续保持世界第一。风电、太阳能发电装机容量同比分别增长30.4%和23.7%。

>Biden to nominate Powell as Fed chair
拜登提名鲍威尔连任美联储主席

US President Joe Biden on Monday announced that he intends to nominate Jerome Powell for a second term as Federal Reserve chairman and to nominate Lael Brainard as vice chair.
美国总统拜登11月22日提名杰罗姆•鲍威尔连任美国联邦储备委员会主席、(现任美联储理事)莱尔•布雷纳德担任美联储副主席。

"Chair Powell has provided steady leadership during an unprecedentedly challenging period, including the biggest economic downturn in modern history and attacks on the independence of the Federal Reserve," said a White House statement.
白宫在一份声明中说："鲍威尔领导美联储平稳度过了一个前所未有的充满挑战的时期，包括应对了现代历史上最严重的经济衰退和对美联储独立性的攻击。"

"I'm confident that Chair Powell and Dr. Brainard's focus on keeping inflation low, prices stable, and delivering full employment will make our economy stronger than ever before," Biden said in a statement.
拜登表示，相信鲍威尔和布雷纳德遏制通胀率、稳定物价和实现充分就业等方面的政策将使美国经济更强大。

Powell took office as chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in February 2018 for a four-year term.
鲍威尔于2018年2月开始担任美联储主席，任期4年。
