中国—新西兰自贸协定升级
A protocol on upgrading the free trade agreement between China and New Zealand took effect Thursday, further facilitating bilateral trade and investment, China's Ministry of Commerce said.
商务部4月7日宣布,中国-新西兰自由贸易协定升级议定书当日正式生效,将进一步促进双边贸易和投资便利化。
The two sides will further open their markets for goods, services and investment while optimizing rules to promote trade facilitation.
进一步扩大中新双方在货物、服务、投资等领域市场开放,进一步提升贸易便利化等规则水平。
Bilateral cooperation will also be strengthened in the fields of e-commerce, competition policy, government procurement and the environment.
双方承诺在电子商务、竞争政策、政府采购、环境等领域增强合作。
The upgraded protocol has improved the quality and efficiency of bilateral trade relations on the basis of the China-New Zealand FTA and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, the ministry said.
升级议定书使中新两国自贸关系在中国—新西兰自由贸易协定和区域全面经济伙伴关系协定(RCEP)基础上实现了进一步提质增效。

Traditional Chinese medicines are beneficial in the treatment of COVID-19, particularly mild to moderate cases, according to a new report released by the World Health Organization.

It also encourages member states to consider the potential use of TCM for the management of COVID-19 in the context of their healthcare systems and regulatory frameworks.

The report came in late March after a WHO Expert Meeting on Evaluation of TCMs in the Treatment of COVID-19 was held virtually from Feb 28 to March 2.

The meeting gathered 21 international experts from the six WHO regions to consider three reports, including on clinical service, research and evidence-based evaluation provided by national expert groups in China.
来自世卫组织6个地区办事处的21名国际专家围绕临床实践、科学研究和循证评价等方面展开研讨,对中方专家分享的关于中医药救治新冠肺炎相关报告进行了交流和评估,并于3月底形成专家评估会报告。

Beijing authorities have released a plan for energy development from 2021 to 2025. Beijing will strengthen the control of the amount and intensity of energy and carbon emissions and continue to promote clean energy use in rural areas. By 2025, the city will achieve a coal-free heat supply.
北京市政府近日印发《北京市“十四五”时期能源发展规划》。“十四五”时期北京将强化能源、碳排放的总量和强度双控,并继续推动农村清洁能源替代,到2025年基本实现全市供热“无煤化”。
Beijing will improve its natural gas supply capacity and form emergency reserves of about 1.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas by 2025.
根据规划,“十四五”时期北京将提高天然气供应保障能力,形成14亿立方米左右的天然气应急储备能力。
By then, newly added installed power generation capacity of renewable energy will reach about 2.1 million kW. An additional 45 million square meters will be heated by renewable energy.
