>China accelerates issuance of local-gov't special bonds
今年地方政府专项债券发行进度明显快于往年

The issuance of local-government special bonds in China has progressed much faster and is more advanced this year than in previous years, an official said Tuesday. The country has allocated all special bond quotas for project construction, Vice Minister of Finance Xu Hongcai said at a press conference.
4月12日，财政部副部长许宏才在新闻发布会上表示，今年地方政府专项债券发行使用工作起步早、动作快，进度明显快于往年，用于项目建设的专项债券额度已全部下达。

By the end of March, the country had advanced about 1.25 trillion yuan worth of the 2022 bond quota, or 86 percent of the total.
截至2022年3月末，各省份基本都已组织开展了提前下达额度的发行工作，累计发行约1.25万亿元，占提前下达额度的86%。

According to this year's government work report, China plans to issue a total of 3.65 trillion yuan in special-purpose bonds for local governments in 2022.
今年的政府工作报告指出，2022年拟安排地方政府专项债券3.65万亿元。

>China's foreign trade up 10.7% in Q1
一季度我国外贸同比增长10.7%

China's foreign trade in goods reached 9.42 trillion yuan in the first quarter, up 10.7 percent year-on-year, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Wednesday.
海关总署4月13日发布数据，今年一季度，我国货物贸易进出口总值9.42万亿元，同比增长10.7%。

Exports grew by 13.4 percent to 5.23 trillion yuan, while imports increased by 7.5 percent to 4.19 trillion yuan.
其中出口5.23万亿元，同比增长13.4%；进口4.19万亿元，同比增长7.5%。

The nation's trade with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the European Union, the United States, South Korea, and Japan reached 1.35 trillion yuan, 1.31 trillion yuan, 1.18 trillion yuan, 574.18 billion yuan, and 571.03 billion yuan, respectively, during the first three months. Those trade values increased by 8.4 percent, 10.2 percent, 9.9 percent, 12.3 percent, and 1.8 percent from a year ago, respectively.
一季度，我国与东盟、欧盟、美国、韩国和日本分别进出口1.35万亿、1.31万亿、1.18万亿、5741.8亿和5710.3亿元，分别增长8.4%、10.2%、9.9%、12.3%和1.8%。

>China's CPI stays mostly flat in March
3月份CPI同比上涨1.5%

China's inflation remained generally stable in March despite sporadic domestic resurgences of COVID-19 and bulk commodity price hikes in the international market, official data showed on Monday.
官方数据显示，尽管受国内多点散发疫情和国际大宗商品价格上涨等因素影响，我国3月份物价形势仍整体保持稳定。

China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 1.5 percent year on year in March, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Monday. The figure was higher than the 0.9-percent year-on-year growth recorded in February.
国家统计局4月11日发布的数据显示，3月份，CPI同比上涨1.5%，涨幅比上月扩大0.6个百分点。

A breakdown of the data showed that food prices saw contraction narrow to 1.5 percent year on year, dragging the CPI down by 0.28 percentage points.
其中，食品价格同比下降1.5%，影响CPI下降约0.28个百分点。

Specifically, the price of pork, a staple meat in China, slumped 41.4 percent year on year, compared with a 42.5-percent decrease a month ago.
食品中，猪肉价格下降41.4%，降幅比上月收窄1.1个百分点；

However, the price of fresh vegetables, which skidded 0.1 percent in February, saw a 17.2-percent increase last month.
鲜菜价格由上月下降0.1%转为上涨17.2%。

Non-food prices rose 2.2 percent from a year earlier, contributing about 1.77 percentage points to the CPI growth.
非食品价格上涨2.2%，影响CPI上涨约1.77个百分点。

The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, gained 1.1 percent year on year, flat with a month ago.
扣除食品和能源价格的核心CPI，3月份同比上涨1.1%，涨幅与2月份相同。

>Global COVID-19 cases surpass 500m
全球累计新冠确诊病例超5亿例

Global COVID-19 cases topped 500 million on Tuesday, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. The global case count amounted to 500,074,490, with more than 6.18 million deaths worldwide.
美国约翰斯•霍普金斯大学系统科学与工程中心发布的新冠疫情最新统计数据显示，全球累计新冠确诊病例超过5亿例，达500074490例，累计死亡病例超过618万例。

The United States reported 80,456,912 cases and 986,019 deaths, both the highest counts around the world, according to the university's tally.
数据显示，美国是截至目前累计确诊和死亡病例最多的国家，累计确诊病例80456912例，累计死亡病例986019例。

The global caseload reached the grim milestone of 100 million on Jan 26, 2021, rose to 200 million on Aug 4, exceeded 300 million on Jan 6, 2022, and surpassed 400 million on Feb 8, 2022.
全球累计确诊病例2021年1月26日超过1亿例，同年8月4日超过2亿例，今年1月6日超过3亿例，2月8日超过4亿例。
