民生银行刚刚推出的“钻石信用卡”透支额度最高达300万元，对于引起舆论哗然的“副部级以上高官也成了此卡的目标人群”这一说法，民生解释说：“‘钻石卡’的发卡对象主要面向具有社会影响力的知名人士，并不是副部级就一定可以发。并且，拥有最高限额也不意味着就一定要消费这么多钱。”
