Hello, could you explain the following words: fast and quick. I want to know their differences. I also want to know the difference between the adverb 'quick' and the adverb 'quickly'. Best wishes and thank you very much!

This week we're talking about adjectives and adverbs connected with speed: quick, quickly and fast.

三个词在汉语里都表示'快',但是它们在词性和用法上有何区别呢?

Adjectives are used to describe nouns and adverbs tell us about verbs, adjectives and even other adverbs.

Some adverbs can be made by adding 'ly' to the end of the adjective, but that's not always the case as we see the word 'fast'.
