据悉，日本11月8日提出一个新动议，称中国应承担更多的联合国会费，而日本应降低所承担的份额。这是日本今年第二次提议中国增加所承担的联合国会费份额。根据该动议，德国和安理会常任理事国俄罗斯也应该增加会费份额。

Due做形容词时，与“会费”相应的词义是“应付的、欠付的”，常放置于被修饰词之后，如：a letter with five cents postage due（一封欠资5分的信件）；the amount still due（尚欠额）。

此外，如报道所示，在相同语境下，due可和fee或contribution相互替换。
