Anti-war and anti-U.S. rally in Seoul

Protesters hold candles during an anti-war rally demanding the safe return of kidnapped South Koreans and the withdrawal of its troops from the country, in front of the U.S. embassy in Seoul August 1, 2007. Two women among 21 Koreans held by the Taliban in Afghanistan are seriously ill, a rebel spokesman said on Wednesday before the insurgents' 0730 GMT deadline for Kabul to free prisoners in return for the hostages.
