Wu Zetian 武则天

The name Wu Zetian, is known by almost everyone of any age in China. She is the only female emperor in the history of China. Wu was born in 624 during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). She reigned from 690 to 705 and changed the Tang Dynasty into the Zhou Dynasty, which was changed back by her successors. Her adventures and political fights in a male-oriented period are legendery and have been adapted into novels, films and TV shows.

中国上至老下至小没有不知道武则天这个名字的。她是中国历史上唯一一位女皇帝。武则天于624年出生于唐朝。在武则天在位期间（690年-705年），她将唐朝改为周朝，后来她的继任者又改了回来。她在男权时代的冒险经历和政治斗争带有浓厚的传奇色彩，已经被改编成多部小说、电影和电视剧。
