Britain's new Prime Minister Boris Johnson moved into Downing Street on Monday with his girlfriend Carrie Symonds, becoming the first unmarried couple to live in the world-famous address in London.

29日，英国新任首相鲍里斯•约翰逊与其女友卡丽•西蒙兹一同入住伦敦唐宁街，成为第一对在英国首相府邸同居的未婚伴侣。

Johnson, 55, had been living with Symonds, 31, at her flat in south London in the lead up to the Conservative Party leadership contest, the result of which meant he took charge as prime minister last week.

"The PM is officially moving in today [Monday] and, yes, his partner will be living there," confirmed a Downing Street spokesperson. "There won't be any additional cost to the taxpayer, the spokesperson said, implying that Symonds would not be provided with any publicly-funded staff usually associated with a first lady.

The "first couple" occupied the four-bedroom flat above No 11 Downing Street, which is more spacious and comfortable than the two-bedroom apartment next door at No 10.

The Duchess of Sussex has guest edited British Vogue's September issue, focusing on women who "break barriers".

The cover features 15 women, including actresses and activists Jane Fonda, teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Meghan chose not to put herself on the cover, the magazine's editor-in-chief Edward Enninful said, as she felt it would be a "boastful thing to do".

Titled "Forces for Change," the September issue will also feature a conversation between Meghan and former US first lady Michelle Obama.

The duchess said she hoped people would be as inspired as she was by the women featured in the magazine. The magazine will hit newsstands on August 2.

>Sanya plans new theme park

Hello Kitty, an iconic Japanese cartoon character, will find a new home in China as the country's Hainan province will open a theme park based on her image in 2024.

2024年，一个基于日本经典卡通形象凯蒂猫的全新主题乐园将在我国海南省迎客。

It will be located in Sanya's Haitang Bay, a popular scenic spot, according to an agreement signed between Sanrio (Shanghai) International Trade Co, which owns the rights to the Hello Kitty brand, and Chinese company Funde Holding Group Co.

根据拥有凯蒂猫商标权的三丽鸥(上海)国际贸易有限公司和富德集团(控股)有限公司签署的协议，这座主题乐园将选址三亚市热门旅游景区海棠湾。

The project will include a theme park, a hotel and shopping facilities. The park is expected to receive about 2 million tourists each year after it opens to the public.

项目包括一座主题公园、一家酒店和购物设施。主题乐园开业后预计年客流量约200万人次。

Official data showed the province received 38.6 million tourists in the first half of 2019, up 6% year-on-year.

>Social donations hit 90B yuan

Social donations from across China exceeded 90 billion yuan in 2018, an official of the Ministry of Civil Affairs said Monday.

民政部慈善事业促进和社会工作司司长贾晓九29日表示，2018年度，全国社会捐赠总额超过900亿元。

China now has more than 7,500 registered charity organizations, with net assets totaling about 160 billion yuan, according to Jia Xiaojiu, head of the ministry's department for philanthropy and social work.

截至目前，全国登记认定慈善组织超过7500个，净资产合计约1600亿元。

There are currently 204 charitable trust projects in China, with contracts involving about 2.248 billion yuan. There are over 1.2 million people in China working as professional social workers and 439,000 of them are certified workers, according to Jia.

目前设立慈善信托204笔，信托合同规模约22.48亿元；社会工作专业人才队伍规模达到120余万人，其中43.9万人取得社会工作者职业资格证书。

More than 120 million people have registered as volunteers, and there are 12,000 registered organizations for volunteer services, Jia said.
目前，全国注册志愿者超过1.2亿人，依法登记的志愿服务组织已有1.2万个。
