 浅谈“Sophisti-pop”

该如何形容这种音乐？淡淡的流行味道，丝丝的爵士情怀…… 只是，虽“流行”，它却没能成为流行的主角；虽“爵士”，它从未得到正统爵士迷的吹捧。

行走在主流音乐和非主流音乐的交界处，“Sophisti-pop”完美地融合了电子、爵士、摇滚、R&B等各色音乐元素，成为更轻柔、更为大众接受的“爵士乐”。因为它的流行，人们说Sophisti-pop“很爵士”；也因为它的“很爵士”，人们更喜欢把Sophisti-pop列为爵士的一种，称它为“轻爵士”。

Sophisti-pop源于上世纪80年代，与正统爵士乐相比，它缺乏前者的厚重、深沉和大气，也没有爵士乐特有的“即兴”成分。你说它精致也好，矫揉也罢，总之，20世纪80年代特有的音响合成，让Sophisti-pop和着美妙多变的萨克斯风一路优雅走来，那么柔滑、那么甜美。
