23-year-old Chinese beauty Zhang Zilin has been crowned this year's Miss World. She competed against more than 100 other contestants in the final round of the 2007 Miss World Pageant. The contest was held on Saturday in Sanya.
This is the fourth time the Miss World Pageant has been hosted by China. Women from 106 countries and regions took part in this year's contest. Miss Angola and Miss Mexico took second and third place.This year's event coincided with World Aids Day. And organizers used the contest to promote awareness about HIV/AIDS.
