报道中的listed subsidiary就是"上市子公司"。我们平常所见的list常做名词"名单，列表"，或用它的动词形式"列举"，如：Please list three reasons why you enjoyed the film（请列举出三个理由，说明你为什么喜欢那部电影）。而报道中的list指"to admit securities for trading on an organized exchange"（使公司证券在交易所上市）。Subsidiary一般做形容词，表示"附属的"，如subsidiary business（副业），而报道中是它的名词用法"子公司"。

另外，我们常说的"黑名单"是black list；而subsidiary也表示"补贴的，与补助金有关的"，如a subsidiary payment（津贴），所以当我们看到它的相应名词形式"subsidy"时，可以猜得出其汉语意思――"津贴"，如"a subsidy for education"（教育津贴）。
