在奥运倒计时一周年来临之际，国际奥委会主席罗格高度赞扬了北京奥运会各方面的筹备工作，并认为北京奥运会将给中国带来丰厚的遗产。

报告中的“one-year countdown”指的就是“倒计时一周年”。
“Countdown”在此指“倒读数阶段”，前面可根据具体情况添加相应的数字，如：a ten-second countdown（倒数十秒）。
“Countdown”相应的动词词组为to count down，看例句：The final seconds before takeoff were counted down: 10, 9, 8, etc.（起飞进入倒计时阶段：10，9，8……）
