个人所得税“起征点”提高-英语点津

China's top legislature began to read the draft amendment to the law on individual income tax, according to which the individual income tax threshold will be raised to ease the burden of medium and low income earners amid price increase. China's current monthly individual income tax cutoff point is 1,600 yuan.

报道中说，全国人大常委会23日开始审议个人所得税法修正案草案，拟将工薪所得减除费用标准由现行的每月1600元提高至每月2000元，以缓解中低收入人群由于物价上涨造成的负担。

这里起征点表示一个门槛，一个界限，因此可以表达为“threshold”或“cutoff point”，那么，个人所得税“起征点”可以表达为individual income tax cutoff point/threshold。
