Mela Festival 梅拉文化节

The Edinburgh Mela was founded in 1995 by members of the city's minority ethnic communities. The first festival was held in Meadowbank Stadium and quickly grew to attract 20,000 people each year. It was the first Mela in Scotland and has gained a strong reputation in the UK. The festival demonstrates ethnic minority arts and culture.

“爱丁堡梅拉”于1995年由爱丁堡的少数民族团体成立。首届梅拉文化节在苏格兰一个名叫梅多邦克的体育馆举行，之后规模迅速壮大，每年吸引2万人参与。梅拉文化节主要展示少数民族的文化和艺术。
