2011年《失恋三十三天》大热的时候，每个女孩都希望自己身边有一个王小贱那样的男闺蜜。这两天，大家都似乎都在痴迷于黄晓明式的异性友情了。其实，不论王小贱还是黄晓明，他们都是女生身边最铁的bromeo。

The guy who your girlfriend is jealous of because you spend more time with him than you do with her. He is one of your most loyal friends and will not hesitate to back you up in any situation.

This is somewhat like platonic cross-sex friendships. For singles, platonic friendships can both be more valuable and more fraught with stress.
