在公司被人无视,每天的工作都像“打酱油”;出去消费被商家任意宰割,被当成了摇钱树,我们每个人都有可能被当做“座位上的一团肉”。
Meat in a seat refers to a customer or employee who is unappreciated or viewed only as a source of revenue; or an unskilled person who is just along for the ride.
Meat in a seat(座位上的一团肉)指不被赏识的员工或者仅被商家当做收入来源的顾客;或指没什么专业技能、在一旁“打酱油”的人。

In the airlines industry, the success of Spirit has helped to legitimize practices that treat passengers, in the words of one consumer watchdog, like “meat in a seat.” When a carrier assumes the moral status of its customers to be different from an ATM only in respect to daily limits, monetizing the mistakes of first-time flyers can be a lucrative business.
在航空业,(美国廉价航空)精灵航空公司的成功使得把乘客当做“座位上的一团肉”来对待这样的行为合理化。当航空公司认为,顾客跟自动取款机的唯一区别只在于每日限额时,利用第一次乘飞机的乘客所犯的错误来赚钱就会是一个利润丰厚的营生。
