今年9月10日是我国第35个教师节。党的十八大以来，我国始终把教师队伍建设摆在优先发展的战略地位，并有针对性地出台了一系列政策措施：
——教育部建立健全了覆盖大中小学师德建设的制度体系，构建了教育、宣传、考核、监督、奖惩相结合的师德建设长效机制，使师德建设全面迈入制度化、规范化和法治化轨道。
——2012至2016年，中央财政累计投入经费95亿元，支持实施“国培计划”——师范生项目、中西部项目和幼师国培项目等，共培训中小学幼儿园教师、校长、职业院校教师、高校青年教师等1008万人次，有力地推动了教育内涵式发展。
——2015年，国务院办公厅印发“乡村教师支持计划（2015—2020年）”的通知。提高乡村教师生活待遇，统一城乡教职工编制标准，职称（职务）评聘向乡村学校倾斜。
——2015年8月的国务院常务会议决定，全面推行中小学教师职称制度改革，原本分设的中学、小学教师职称（职务）系列统一了职称等级和名称，并设置正高级职称，打破了中小学教师的职业“天花板”。

各级党委和政府要从战略高度来认识教师工作的极端重要性，满腔热情关心教师，改善教师待遇，关心教师健康，维护教师权益，使教师成为最受社会尊重的职业。
