A big night for TV, a big night for China's film makers, as the curtain rang down on the China Radio, Film and Television International Exposition. The six-day affair ended Sunday on a high note with the Huabiao Film Awards, China's highest governmental recognition for cinema.

"On the Taihang Mountain" was one of ten recipients of China's Highest Film Award. Chen Kun, who played Chen Qiushui in "The Knot" and Fu Dalong, the lead in "Forest Ranger", took the top awards for actors; while among actresses Ding Jiali for her film "The Lane Premier" and Li Bingbing for "The Knot", took the superlatives. "The Knot" proved the biggest winner, walking off with five trophies, including a Top Director Award for Yin Li. "Crazy Stone", a small budget film that won big at the box office, grabbed the awards for Best Film Technology, Best Digital Film and Best Newcomer in the Directing category.
