南京师范大学06（9）翻译班学生，最大的梦想是可以赚很多钱，然后当一只云游四方的“驴子”，看一看外面的世界，目前在香港教育学院作交换生。自觉已经不小，但仍无法抗拒偶像剧的魅力，无可救药地爱上了High School Musical 1&2里的所有歌曲，所以强烈推荐大家去看一看。这首When There was Me and You 旋律十分动人，表现了女主角Gabriella内心的失望与痛苦。

我听之我见：Gabriella听到Troy为应付队友不断劝其放弃唱歌而应该专心打球的敷衍之词后信以为真，内心十分痛苦，以为Troy真的不把自己当作重要的人，一切不过是自己太过天真，富于幻想，认为Troy与自己一样都共同喜爱唱歌，拥有同样的梦想。这首歌曲前半部分旋律哀婉缓慢，回忆着过去，讲述自己曾经的期待与欣喜，后半部分则变得激昂起来，表明自己过于盲目天真，轻信他人，现在已经觉醒，但对于自己这种觉醒也是极其痛苦的煎熬。整首歌近乎完美的表现了一个人心情起伏的历程，用心聆听就会产生共鸣。
